Product Description

   Shenzhen Raybow Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. officially released a 1W 638nm high-power red laser chip in December 2019, which can be used for projection and lighting. The product model is RB-638A-110-1-1.5-SE. The emitter width is 110μm, the cavity length is 1.5mm, the output power is 1W, and the working current at room temperature is 1.4A. The overall size of the chip is 0.4mmx1.5mm (width x length), and the chip supports bare core, COS and to-9 packages.


   By continuously improving the structure of the chip, Raybow has solved the power and reliability problems of the high-power red chip. The maximum power conversion efficiency reaches 40%, which will greatly help to reduce the overall power consumption of the laser TV or projector. The thermal turnover power of continuous current drive at room temperature is close to 4W. To ensure long-term reliability, Raybow completed 23,000 hours of online life testing at 1W laser power, and judged from the data that the life expectancy at room temperature was over 60,000 hours. The operating temperature is -5 ~ 40℃, ensuring the industry's top level of the working temperature range.
